Kanye West surpassed Michael Jackson and Frankie Valli for most top 40 hits by a male artist

ScHoolboy Q scores his second top 40 hit as a lead artist on the Hot 100 as “That Part” moves 42-40. His first was “Studio,” featuring BJ the Chicago Kid, which climbed to No. 38 in 2014. Radio play continues to pick up steam for “That Part,” as the song rises 18-16 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart (up 9 percent in spins at the format for the week).

For West, “Part” becomes his 40th top 40 hit on the Hot 100, passing Michael Jackson and Frankie Valli (39 each) for the tenth most top 40 hits by a male artist of all time.
